Angry Koala, a musical brainchild of Dan and Shaun, brings an energetic blend of folky pop, country-western crossover, and rock to the table. Both hailing from diverse musical backgrounds, Dan and Shaun formed Angry Koala to express their shared vision and passion for storytelling through music.

Dan, isn't a country-folk devotee, nor does he channel the spirit of Johnny Cash. Nonetheless he is known to write songs about life's simplest happenings - catching the train, ordering food or dying a horrible death.

Shaun, owner of countless heavy metal T-shirts, is the band's riff meister. Not only a master of catchy harmonies, but also an excellent chef. A close friend of thousands, he is never short of a mate to call on to play on their sessions.
